I wanted to update sooner, and I've been more or less ready to, I've just been caught up with things.
The July 4th weekend was pretty rockin'. Didn't do anything with Piccolo because he was feeling under the weather, but I'm glad that he has since recovered. Woke up a little early and after completely botching DMC4, decided to make some progress in Resident Evil 5. The more that I play it, the more I'm disliking it as an survival horror game. (Because it isn't, but it still has ammo/health trappings.) I miss the old Resident Evil. =( Even 4 was a good middle ground. (As a side note, I need to catch up on PSN bad because I want to play the demos of Ghostbusters and Battlefield.) Did some running around with Jason before he went to work, and we confirmed the death of $1 Filet-O-Fishes on Friday. Booooo. And may I add that Punch-Out!! for Wii is hella, hella fun. If you ever liked the old one, then it's definitely one to pick up and play. It's like it just got a face lift and that's it. Perfect, it's been too long since we had a good Punch-Out game.
( Grilling with the parents, car repair, MJ love, eating healthy and exercising, food, Tokyo in Tulsa, cosplay, work grump, travel )
In the immediate future, we're going to see the new Harry Potter tomorrow at the Warren, and I'm pretty pumped for a whole bunch of reasons. My voice feels crapped out since the con, and it's probably my only real complaint. The stock market has been crazy go nuts, but I'm coming back on the upswing. I'm running behind on sorting my money and my room out, so that will need to be done. That and I need to work on professional development in my upcoming free weekends. Watchmen comes out next week, so you know where I'm sticking my head for 3 hours.
And that's where I'm at. =) Major love goes out to anyone having a hard time of it recently, I think this part of the summer is just kind of hard. I know that I'm not immune. If we stick together, it'll all be okay. <3
